Assistant Technical Support Engineer

The Job

You are required to provide technical support in carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance work on CCTV cameras and backend systems. You are also responsible in carrying out on-site equipment installation, testing and commissioning as required in various projects, attending to service requests from customers promptly and professionally, liaising with relevant parties and users on the repairs and adjustments of cameras and working with principals, suppliers, system engineers to resolve technical issues.

Requirements

  • Minimum NITEC in Security Systems Integration or Diploma graduates in Electrical, Electronics and Computer Engineering, or equivalent
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar environment
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast paced and performance driven environment
  • Candidate will be scheduled for on-call support rotation

Assistant Technical Support Engineer

The Job

You are required to provide Field Service Support for preventive maintenance and repair works, as well as on-site installation, test and commissioning of medical and security equipments. You are also responsible for spare part and repair quotation to customer and ensure ultimate customer satisfaction. Timely and accurate response to all customer inquiries on medical and security products, systems and services is to be expected. Incumbent will work closely with OEM Project Manager, hospital BMEs and Suppliers Engineers for new installation and commissioning works, as well as with customers to keep abreast of changes in products. To assist Sales on demos, live conferences, trade fairs, exhibitions and related events.

Requirements 

  • Entry level candidates with NITEC or Diploma in Electronics / Mechanical & Electrical Engineering are welcomed to apply

Assistant Technical Support Engineer
Location: Changi Airport / Medical & Security Division

The Job 

You are required to perform on-site installation, testing and commissioning of Baggage X-Ray Machine, as well as its repair, servicing and calibration. You will also be responsible for pre-sales and post-sales support and conduct equipment demonstration to customers on top of maintenance service support and quotation to customers on spare parts repair. Your assistance will be needed with equipments set-up during trade fairs, exhibitions and related events. This role requires you to attend break-down calls on-site at Changi Airport and will be a 12 hours shift work.

Requirements 

  • Minimum NITEC in Electronics / Mechanical & Electrical Engineering or its equivalent with preferably 0 to 1 years’ experience in a similar capacity
  • Physically fit, independent and meticulous
  • Efficient in paperwork and documentation
  • Good communication skill

Assistant System Engineer

The Job 

You will be responsible for the design, installation and support of proposed IP network and security systems with accordance to solution requirements in meeting customer needs. Participation in pre-sales engagement activity and assistance with the formulation of sales proposals will be required. You have to be familiar with the role and responsibility in responding to RFP/RFI, conduct testing and proof of concept task, plan and perform project deployment roll up including site survey, installation and UAT till project closure, provide administrative training to customer on operation and maintenance needs, provide first and second level support to IP network and security related problems, formulate escalation action plan and follow up proactively until problem resolution, as well as create and maintain site specific network and system configuration documents for post implementation support.

Requirements 

  • Entry Level candidates with Diploma or Degree qualification in Computer Engineering / Information Technology are welcomed to apply
  • Knowledge on Microsoft Clustering, Active Directory, Agent Vi, Milestone, VMware and IT Security is required
  • Experience in installation on Server / Client configuration, Network Storage and IT network is essential
  • Good hands on experience in system troubleshooting and problem isolation
  • Possess MCSA, MCSE preferred
  • Possess good communication skills

Backend Office System Operator (Full-Time / Part-Time)

 You will be required to scan, note down and verify any parking infringements from CCTV monitors. Consolidate all traffic infringements and submit report to customers. Attend to enquiries regarding verification of traffic infringements and other related services. Report faulty cameras or breakdowns. Coordinate with Technical Support team on camera repairs and adjustments. Resolve all in scope enquires and take appropriate escalation actions when required.

Requirements 

  • Minimum O Level or equivalent
  • Preferably with experience working with CCTV systems
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Able to converse well with customers on enquiries
  • Good team player and able to work independently
