In 1999, Huaxin International expanded its geographical presence to Suzhou. Orchard Manor was the first major residential development project it undertook. The key conceptual design of this project was focussed on being “people-centred” and together with the “garden city” positioning of Singapore, these design elements were incorporated holistically into the project’s architectural layout and spatial design as well as landscape planning. This set the benchmark for high-end residential living in Suzhou then. Upon its launch in 2002, 700 units of Orchard Manor were fully sold within three days.
